Another Great Movie from Roger Ebert. I just have to show this because of how grand it is. Frame after frame, this opening shot was hand-animated in pencil. It had to be carefully drawn, unshaded, reshaded bit by bit. And the result gives us a magnificent view of a grand city.
And the stage is set for a futuristic fantasy on a grand scale.
